Working on page 15, I began to experiment using a technique that had been recommended to me since I began showing my art on DA: using the pen tool in 'hotoshop' to work on cleaner outlines. On one of my panels, I used the pen tool to work on the outline, and I was quite impressed. But what was impressive to me, made my computer grunt and groan.
The routine was pretty much this: 1)Draw a line, 2)The computer thinks for about 15 seconds, 3)The line finally appears.
This routine pretty much made me give up on the outlining for now, but the taste I had made me realize that it was possible.
Page 15 continues the dynamic page layout, and starts us into the transformation. The sentence to a scream word-balloon was one of the most difficult things to do. It's something I'm 67% happy about, but wish I could have gotten it the extra 33% to what I wanted.
Tai's last line is something that seems right for almost any occasion. For example:
1) Anna Sophia Robb said it as Violet in the 2005 Charlie & The Chocolate Factory.
2) Daryl Hannah said it when she started to grow in the remake of Attack of the 50 Foot Woman.
I like to think the top right panel of Tai's mouth wide-open in shock is a mental homage to Image Comics artist J. Scott Campbell. JSC's artwork inspired me as a teenager, when I religiously read issues of Gen 13. In almost every one of his comics, at least one character would have this wide-eyed, open-mouthed expression.
nice work thou and i think you have shown me that you should never give in to what others think of you thanks. i'd like to make a small change you whent a litel over borde with the outlines just don't think you hit the money onit this time but still nice work.
So beautiful! I'll give a more in depth critcue later but it's beautiful!
Though maybe a tad fast on the chubbiness. Then again I've always liked the *bloat* being off screen and then we see the effects and they do have to be noticable off the bat with that.
Eh, I'll think it over but I really like this page.
Again great job with the paneling...very creative. However, be careful with the text boxes, the one in the fourth or so panel was a little hard to read because of the curvature. A little looks nice, but too much can be confusing.
Sorry to hear your computer doesn't handle some of photoshop's functions so well. I'd say stick to what works for now, your art certainly is doing quite well so far.
Keep up the good work! I like that you keep showing different perspectives. keeps things interesting!

Uh oh....IT BEGINS!!! Either that belt is gonna snap or she's gonna POP! LOL, great artwork, can't wait to see her swell out of her bikini and to see what Mark's reaction is to her growth.
